anytime I was growing because it is an economical meal and filling up we ate lots of soup, probably. My mother made clam chowder, vegetable soup, chicken-noodle soup, to name a few. All of her soups were made from labor and scratch intensive. Caused by new services, but then again, soup can be quite a meal that is quick

For example, I always have a carton of unsalted chicken broth on the shelf. It is used by me for sauces, soups, as well as casseroles. Unsalted beef broth is useful too, it as much as chicken broth although I don’t use. Grocery stores also carry unsalted bouillon cubes and I always keep them on hand. We don’t eat many soups that are canned but that i have mushroom and celery while in the pantry.

Recently I bought an offer of low fat, reduced salt dogs that are hot and we had them for lunch. My husband didn’t like the taste. “These have hardly any flavor,” he commented. “What brand are they?” He was right. The hot dogs had flavor that is little were an alternative brand, one I would not usually buy.

Fat adds flavor to food. Within the manufacturer decreases the content that is fat herbs and seasonings may be added for flavor. Some of these products, such as the variety of chicken hots dogs, are really good. But I still had the rest of the dogs that are hot wondered a few things I could do to them.

3 Hotdog that is grilled Recipes Will Make Your Mouth Water

Because I will be a person that is thrifty I decided to use them in soup. It was a decision that is good. The soup was tasty and my better half enjoyed it. To circumvent the pasta from being overcooked, I cooked it early in advance and added it about the soup from the minute that is last. Cooked rice might be substituted for pasta. Stumped on dinner? Make soup tonight!

1 tablespoon oil that is olive*)1 medium yellow onion, chopped

1 can (10 1/2 ounces) celery soup (I( used the reduced fat and salt kind.)

1 carton (32 ounces) unsalted chicken broth

1 pound package of hot dogs (your choice)

1 cup frozen corn

1 cup frozen peas

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon cumin (or 1/2 if you want more smokiness)

1 cup pre-cooked small pasta (tubes, shells, macaroni)

1. Pour oil that is olive into pot. Add cook and onion over medium heat until soft.

2. Stir in celery chicken and soup stock.
3. Cut dogs that are hot thin slices and add to soup.
4. Add all ingredients that are remaining. Cover and simmer over heat that is lowest for 1 hour, or transfer to show cooker, set on low, and simmer 6-8 hours.
5. Uncover soup and add pasta that is cooked. Heat 10 more minutes.
6. Serve with crackers, bread sticks, or bread that is crusty. Makes about 8 servings.
